A player throws the smallest ball, called the pallino, to the other side of the court to initiate the game.

PLAYING THE GAME

Players determine which team will go first and the first player throws their bocce ball underhand and tries to get as close as they can to the pallino. The next team’s player will also throw their bocce ball underhand, trying to get closer to the pallino than the first player. Players continue to throw their bocce balls and alternate by team. The frame is complete when all the balls are thrown, and a point is awarded to the team with the bocce ball closest to the pallino.

Play continues by resetting the game and starting a new frame – scoring is the same as the first frame. The person who threw the ball closest to the pallino in the previous frame is the one who will go first in the next frame. The game is over when a team reaches 12 points.

Everglade Fescue Pro – Everglade has a pile height of 1.75 inches and features a dual coloring of field green and olive green. This product is one of our most popular options for installation as well as turf rentals due to its realistic aesthetics and durability. We recommend Everglade for events with moderate to heavy levels of traffic, such as tailgating, parties, and exhibitions.

Diamond Pro Fescue – Much like Everglade, Diamond Pro Fescue has field green and olive green color combination and is ideal for moderate to heavy levels of traffic. It is our tallest artificial grass rental product at approximately 1.875 inches. This product is perfect for any outdoor events in the summer because it features TigerCool, a technology which reduces temperatures on the grass by up to 10 degrees.

All of our synthetic grass products are realistic, non-toxic, lead-free, and allergen-free. Even if the product is recommended for light levels of traffic, it is still incredibly durable and will take a lot before it has stray grass blades — no need to worry about spillage on the grass either.
